V8B2: Issue with archive part > 2 GB.

Post by selestria »

Some collection now include part of really big size (> 2 GB.).

For Newsleecher V8 Beta 2 they are seen as 1 KB parts. Nevertheless they download correctly (but without showing any progress), the result is incomplete (truncated to what's fit in 2 GB limit)

Obviously a 32 bits signed integer issue
Error with part > 2 GB.
Error with part > 2 GB.

I download large files all the time. Some 4k file downloads at 40+GB.

Getting the problem occasionally where the % is not showing properly (>100%), but I don't get a problem with parts showing incorrectly nor have I had a problem with parts being corrupted.

Going to watch for this problem to occur...

Attempted to d/l the file in your picture and you are correct. Same thing happened to me.

Leeched with SABNZB and it d/l'd without a problem.

Unusual for a 20GB file to have so few large parts, but it is a problem with NewsLeecher V8B2.
