Re: 8.0 Beta 1 Rendering Issues

FWIW, this image shows the little file folder rendering correctly(?) but the items in the drop-tree-list are overlapping. I tried changing the setting for spacing of lists and it affected all lists I checked, except this one. It still works, but doesn't look great.

8.0 Beta 1 Rendering Issues

I have a 43" UDH display at 3840x2160 that I run at 150% scaling. I have noticed some rendering issues with 8.0b1 that seem to come and go, depending on how I get to the particular screen. For example, when I click the Explorer tab from another Newsleecher tab, there is a tiny, unreadable thing just...

8.0 Beta 1: *REALLY* miss the results filter tool!

So far, 8.0 Beta 1 looks really nice with one BIG exception: The input field where we could type specific things to include or exclude from the search results being displayed is MISSING! This was invaluable when unsure of the specific name used for an item as it allowed unwanted matches to be VERY q...

What is _private_data.tar?

I have started seeing a file named _private_data.tar appear in the Default "Repair and Extract" RAR Extract Folder. I have that folder configured as " J:\Leeched\<PAR2 Name> " and I thought that there should only be folders created in the default extract folder. It contains files with names like " M...

Re: de-obfustication idea/request

Thanks that's a little better than nothing, but an actual option to use the "correct" file name (or folder name) would still be a nice thing to have. (smile)

default password option(s)?

I know that we can save some passwords for encrypted RAR files, but I wasn't able to figure out how to ask newsleecher to try using the RAR filename as a password. For example, if the full file name is "18102034.rar" try using "18102034" as the password. I have found that quite a few files are encry...

de-obfustication idea/request

First, I *LOVE* the new de-obfustication feature, but... It would be great if the de-obfusticated name was retained somewhere along with the file(s). Right now, all I see are folders and files with the same de-obfusticated names after the messages have been removed from my download queue. Manually r...

Message not Found

I find myself unable to download articles that come back in SuperSearch results because NewsLeecher reports "Article not found." I am using the newleecher servers as well as SuperSearch, so I thought they would be in sync with each other. Apparently that is not true. I wish that the search database ...
