If you want to play around with the latest features, you should download the beta release. The beta does not provide the same stability as the final release does, as it still needs thoroughly testing, but it often includes brand new features and changes, not yet available in the final release.

NewsLeecher V6.5 Beta 4 is now available for download.

This release updates the OpenSSL helper files used by NewsLeecher. The updated helper files are immune to the OpenSSL "Heartbleed" bug ( check www.heartbleed.com ).

All NewsLeecher online services ( NewsLeecher Usenet Access service and the SuperSearch / SuperLeech service ) are immune to the "Heartbleed" bug.

Due to a fibercut, the connection to our EU Usenet server farm might be unstable / slow at the moment. We're sorry for the inconvenience and hope to have the problem solved very soon.

Update : The fibercut has now been fixed and leeching speeds should be back to normal again.
