I just got my 1GB fibre line 2 days ago. The internet is certainly a much better place now!

@scuba it's been months since the latest beta was announced only being weeks/days from being released, the current SSL algorithm is killing Newsleecher, its crippled it to the extent that paying for the full service is starting to be questioned, is the current Newsleecher fit for purpose?

@scuba is this going to be days, or months as seen on this thread and others, as I am tired of reading NL fails for a paid for premium product, where is @Spiril nowadays, are we below him now!

My Newsbin Pro trial is almost over and it works using SSL.................

Looks like it might be months for an answer, looks like I will be taking my money elsewhere, support and software are pathetic!!

It's sad to say, but I think Newsleecher is just slowly withering away :(

I jumped ship a few months ago and now settled in with Newshosting for my newsgroup access and I use a combination of Newsbin Pro and Newshosting's own FREE, newsreader. Their newsreader has a built in search function which is pretty fast and works across all their supported groups.

Good luck!

I have no news about new version yet. I am running it here as test and runs smooth.
the official beta release date is not yet been decided by Spiril. But when it happens other good news will follow as well :)

Hi scuba:

Any chance of getting a copy and running the test version you are using, until the official beta is released, or will we see an early Christmas present? \:D/

No we do not make more alpha test releases - the new beta will be on website soon.

soon
suːn/
adverb
adverb: soon; comparative adverb: sooner; superlative adverb: soonest

1.
in or after a short time.

This post will be soon 3 month old, it seems that the word "soon" does not have the same meaning for everybody!
