Re: Server Pause Button and Virtual Groups in Manager Tab

Creating a Virtual Group wasn't the problem I stated. The problem is that those Virtual Groups, and any other groups that aren't in a Virtual Group, used to be shown on the Manager tab. Now that tab seems to only show the Entire Group List with a Subscribed column. The Manager tab is where I used to...

Server Pause Button and Virtual Groups in Manager Tab

Server Pause Button: The Connect button in the upper left hand used to have a Pause function that let whatever was happening on the connections complete and then not start another process. This could be downloading an article part, downloading new headers, whatever. Let's say you had 20 connections ...

I cannot see an "Activate Client Package" button. I only see a place for selecting a new package, which I do not want to do. I want to just have the system activate the package I have been using for years. If I select the Client Plus package, it then gives me an "Upgrade to Client Plus Package" butt...

That particular entry on the client REALLY needs to be changed to "Expires at end of day (GMT or whatever) on 'date'" and not "License is valid till 'date'". Putting the date it already expired in that field is no help at all and I'd wager any reasonable person would read it as being fully valid thr...

Connections halted saying "Node"

Tried searching and haven't been able to come up with my issue in the archives. Using NL 6.3 B1 (cannot run 6.3 B2 as I actually like using the program and not playing whack-a-mole with error windows that pop up immediately upon closing the previous one) under Win 7 64-bit w/ 12GB RAM (would love a ...

Groups list

Is there a way to go back to the previous groups listing on the Articles tab? The new dropdown box is so cumbersome to that this beta is unusable for anyone with more than a couple groups. Where the SuperSearch It button is now used to be a pair of arrows that opened up the groups list with checkbox...

what new features from b12 onwards do you use that b11 didnt have? I'm hoping that they will be adding useful features in the future. One of those features should be the option to use the old style temp folder for downloads. IMHO so at the moment nothing then? How about the new SuperSearch settings...

I WISH the beta's were ever changing...or heck, even solidifying and releasing a Final more often than say every 2+ years. 3.9 Final was released in May of 2008. Looking at the handy dandy calendar on my desktop, that month would be coming up in a few days. I think it's about time for that next Final.

Ignore 'RE:...' means that it won't alphabetize using RE but skip to the actual subject that was being replied to. It doesn't mean that you won't see RE: in subject lines.

After finally figuring out a search term that would bring this posting up, I second #3. Is there a way I can remove this new entry from the right-click menu or at the very least reposition it? A change like this really affects the flow of use of the program on par with Office 2007 changes vs all pre...

Go to: c:\documents and settings\user\application data\newsleecher\cachev3\download where 'user' is your Windows username. Delete/move/rename the files !!default!!.nc1 and .nc2 That should clear your queue. Obviously make sure NL is not running when you do this. Be aware that this will only work if...

Yay for testing!! Maybe there should have been some.

Same thing happened here with the first item in the queue being copied to the rest of the queue. The amount of entries didn't change, but all of them are now identical. 3345 entries in my case.

Same here. My queue has the same number of entries as it had, the problem is that all 3345 of them are what the first entry was before the upgrade. So I literally have 3345 entries that are the same item. Also the Articles tab is now showing headers that are months old that were removed. I was caugh...

Re: Article Tab Filter Bug

Filter gets ignored when deleting from filter result. To Reproduce: Open a group with articles. Apply a filter that will have multipe results (.part in any group with many rar files will do nicely) select one of the articles in the result and hit the DEL key to mark it old. What happens: Entire Art...

I thought that when you moved to a different group that the previous one was automatically unloaded. This explains why, when I was monitoring the files being created while waiting for the program to finally close, it didn't rewrite every file at that time and only touched the groups that I had opene...
