is there a way, using the latest beta, to add groups similar to newbin pro (eg. search for playstation, and have all playstation binaries show)?
i currently have to add them manually.

Yep.
1. Got to the Usenetmanager
2. Click on group list ( have a checkmark on SHOW ALL )
3. in the NAME FILTER type playstation
4. Select the groups you want
5. Remove the Filter and the checkmark on Show All
6. Enjoy
