Going from Beta9 to Beta12 I encountered issues with my P2 servers (fills only) not downloading files that are on those servers but aren't on my P1 server. I've had this happened even after I did complete header updates on all of my servers.

My 2 P2 servers are from my ISP, but it limits me to a total of 16KB/s so I would normally use them for fills (they have great completion rates but terrible bandwidth limitations). My P1 server is a 'Premium' service that is undergoing some heavy maintainence lately and causing one of my primary DL groups to come up severely fragmented.

When I set all of my servers to P1, I still get the same results. The same thing happens when I set all of the servers to "Use for Group Updates" as well. The ISP servers race through the queue as if they cannot find the headers I queued for download and I get stuck with only the files that are available on my 'Premium' server.

Double checking the results by using a different news reader I find that all of the files that my ISP servers weren't finding in NL are being successfully found and downloaded.

just an update to this bug that I'm experiencing.

Current configuration:

P1 server0 = news.Ultrafeed.com allows 4 connections
P1 server1 = news.west.earthlink.net 2 connections
P1 server2 = news.west.earthlink.net 2 connections

Server0 grabs all headers. When I queue up files to download, if the parts don't exist on server0, servers1 & 2 attempt to get it. However, servers 1 & 2 NEVER find the files if they do not exist on server0, even though server0 got the headers. The ONLY time that servers1 & 2 actually download anything is when the files exist on server0.

I've double checked my results several times with other readers and the files that the NL servers1 & 2 couldn't find were ALWAYS downloadable using a different client.

For some reason I don't think that this message ID thing is not working properly with either Earthlink's news server or Ultrafeed's. Which I am unable to determine.

**edit: If I set servers1 & 2 to P2 then they almost never download anything, because in that configuration they should only download the files if they don't exist on server0. However, in the case that the files are incomplete on server0, servers 1 & 2 will attempt to get the files, but they never find them.

Maybe, I'm just experiencing super stupid crazy user errors with the new layout, but I didn't have this problem until i upgraded from Beta9
