Hello,
I recently (yesterday) discover NewsLeecher and I'm very impressed by its interface and features .
I'm using Agent but not for a long time I think. I'm angry against Forte because there are still important bugs not corrected in their new version.
I just would like to say 3 things about NewsLeecher, mainly about text messages :
- I don't think it's possible to display text messages with hierarchy (treeview mode) and I think it's very useful.
- When you read a text message, a notepad window opens. Could the text message viewer be integrated in newsleecher ?
- Have the datetime of a post displayed instead of "old" (for text and binaries) ?
Is it possible to include these features in your roadmap ?

Lets not confuse text and actual messages.
Personally i like the way XNews handles message posts.
Messages with the same subject are hidden in a folder type view, click the folder and the messages of the same subject expand, You are able to move onto the next message at the click of a button, which makes reading articles effortless. You can also reply and quote the text from a message (a feature that nl needs).
The advantage of opening messages internally instead of with notepad etc is that we would have the possibility of quoting a message when you reply like other news readers.
Articles with .txt extension could still be opened with notepad or whatever your default viewer as usual.
Yes i know nl is mainly a binary downloader but if something like this could be implemented it would be great! All in the name of being more userfriendly.
