I don't use newsleecher all that much, but I do use it. I went into the program today and was told that my license had expired. I logged into the members section and bought a month's service with paypal to see what would happen. It took the money, apparently signed me up for what I bought but then told me that my license was still not renewed and to goto the license management link and fix the problem. Since the license management link was exactly where I had been to sign up for a month I seem to be screwed. Noplace to do the license renewal, spent money on something I cannot access, etc.

In the NewsLeecher application, uninstall the current license key and quit. When you run NewsLeecher again, it will ask you to enter your Members Account info in order to re-license the application. Make sure you enter the same email address you used for the renewal. If you used a different address on the renewal than before but the application was still checking the account under the old address, that would be why it failed to update your license info.

I tried to do what you said. After I got out, got back in, logged in, and then it said it wanted to restart newsleecher and then it hung my entire system. I couldn't even kill the program. The only way to go was to re-boot which I have now done. then I went in, again, and registered. It has no idea that I had signed up for a month. As far as I know I have not changed my email address.
