Why does this NL v4 (final) on Win7 x64 crash so much on me? I'm a heavy user and have used NL for a few years now. Trust me when I tell you it crashes a lot, usually when loading NZBs. Seems the que gets messed up, NL throws an error messages and crashes, and then there is a popup from windows, something about an exception when trying to access memory.
Is this a known issue? Is there a fix for NL 4? I would buy NL 5 but I'd need assurances that it doesn't crash as much!

I haven't seen an actual crash of the application before. Do you have any kind of debugging software also installed? What does your system event logs have when this happens? _________________ Please be aware of and use the following pages...

One of the event log entries was posted above. If you'd like any other details or logs let me know which ones specifically, I can replicate this issue at any time.
edit: here's more info:
The NZB's im downloading are about 1.2 megs in size - which is maybe too large for newsleecher (?) It's about 25 files.. more likely it's crashing because I've already downloaded 1-2 of those files in the past (but they are not in my que or on my harddrive, it was long ago), this might explain the first screenshot, see below:

| Any info? Should I bother with NL 5 or does the same issue exist? |

Hm.
I think you should try a full uninstall, delete of all NL related data (program files\newsleecher, appdata\roaming\newsleecher), and reinstall. See what happens then. |

Okay I tried that - the problem remains. I also tried XP compatibility mode.
Newsleecher crashes constantly when importing NZB files. Newsbin Pro does not. Your not leaving me much choice but to switch. |

Please send a copy of that NZB to support@newsleecher.com to see if we can reproduce the issue. _________________ Please be aware of and use the following pages...
