After some investigation it seem that whatever the day count is set to for a particular search string it sticks.
For a new search i can change the day but if i wanted to lengthen that search after the first time i cant. |

Click the Downwards arrow to the right of the cleanup button in Supersearch and you can set the default.
I too missed this |

I think dave_bass5 is correct. It's not a default problem.
If you set a search string, do an ss search, and then try and change only the number of days searched, it will not switch to the days you've specified, it reverts to the days specified in the original search with that string.
I think I see what it's doing. It's matching the string in the search box to the fact that your string is in the "recent searches". The problem is, it's taking the settings in the "recent searches" over the current settings in the search dialogs, as though you had clicked on the entry in recent searches.
You can verify this, if you right-click on the entry in recent searches, and edit it, you can change the days there. The next time you search with those parameters, it will use the new number of days set in the "recent searches". Definitely a bug. |

Same problem here, first search I did was with 300 days, now I can't change this value. When I change the days and press search it changes back to 300 days.
edit:
I use newsleecher on Windows 7 64bit |

I have he same thing happening after upgrade. It rememers last 10 enter and always got back after changing. Only way to get a change to work is close down and reopen and enter new days. _________________ Regards,
