Been a paying customer for years. Installed beta, tried to use it, pop-up told me my license was expired, tried to revert to previous version (was using 4 Final) but was then told that my license was still expired (which was wrong). So I paid $20 to upgrade my license, but it turns out I actually just extended my 3.9 license for a year, or w/e, I really don't have a friggin clue what is going on to be honest (none of the dialogs said things like "you are extending the use of V3.9 for a year" or anything useful like that). Now I am going to have to revert to 3.9 somehow. I found the file, but this was all a complete pain in the ass and I am so friggin fed up with the time I have wasted I have just given up. Would like to pay for an upgrade to 4 again, (although I have already done so in the past) but I have NO IDEA HOW TO DO IT! It is the 21st century, software registration should be a completely trouble-free and brainless process.

The registration process for Newsleecher has been odd since day one, and has done nothing but get worse. FIX IT!

Sorry for the confusion. The license isn't tied to a specific version but is valid for a specific time and any version released during that time frame. So if you just purchased a license, it would be valid from now for 1 year.

There are different versions of the key depending on the version. Older versions of the key don't work with the current application version. In fact, you don't get an actual key anymore but you register the application with your Members Area credentials (email address and password). NewsLeecher will then authenticate with our server to validate your license. It should ask for the key when you start the app for the first time. You can also choose the Help>License Key Tools menu to enter the credentials.

The license is tied to the email address you entered during your order. If you just purchased under a different email address from a previous license, use the address from the recent purchase.

If you don't know your Members Area password, you can request a new password to be emailed to you from the login page.
