Using newleecher 4.0 final. Presently have one server and if I get a 2nd block server for fillins and prioritze the servers one and two and have them both checked when downloading does the second server kick in automatically for missing parts or do I have to highlight 2nd server to do repair and extract after download completes to get missing parts.

2nd question: I have several downloads with missing blocks can I repair them when I get 2nd server or do I have to download everything again...thanks R

Forgive me for mentioning, but your question is a bit difficult to read, so I've modified it a bit in the quote.

1. By setting the priority (1=highest priority) NL will first try to download with the server with the highest priority.
If posts are incomplete or unavailable, NL will automatically download the missing articles from the 2nd server .

I currently have two Usenet providers:
1st SuperNews, which had a retention of 800 days on binaries.
2nd An AstraWeb Pay by download plan for fills.

However SuperNews has recently increased their retention to 1200+ days, so I hardly use the credits of the Astra Web account. since there is no expiry date on the credits it's not a problem.

2 No, you don't have to download everything again.
Just download the missing/broken parts or repair files.
Put the files in the same directory as the original download.
You can do this by using Leech Specify or 'change download destination' in the queue.
