Where have the menus been hidden
Since installing v5b8 none of my overnight articles have been downloading because the downloads are all paused.
Can someone let me know how to find the "Speed Limit [Scheduled]" menu bar in the new UI as I think this is where my issue is?
I can adjust the settings of the schedler from the "Toolbox -> Settings" icon, but can't find any of the items that were listed in the "Speed Limit [Scheduled]" menu from the previous NL versions.
Thanks |

Browsing for an answer to a question I found your post. The past 2 nights my scheduled downloads did not run at night (I have a sucky hughesnet satellite connection with FAP). Apparently the scheduler started with articles "manually paused".
I went into the toolbox Download>Speed Scheduler and noticed the checkmark to Enable Scheduler was not checked on. Never happened on previous upgrades. I will get up tonight to see if that was the problem.
As to your question> If you right click in the graph it will also bring up your options to set max/% etc. There is also the speed limit: paused (whatever) drop down box.
I am not aware that you could run certain downloads under scheduler and have others that didn't apply to the set schedules. Now a at least it says that connections are paused by scheduler.
Hope that helps with your problem... |

|

Hi, just for clarity all my downloads are set to overnight because of bandwidth restrictions during the day. Sorry for the confusion with different types of downloads, you are right you can't run "certain downloads under scheduler" as far as I am aware too.
Thanks I have found the menu as you described and the schedules are all set correctly, but the queue doesn't seem to unpause when the scheduler tells it to, so none of my downloads are getting downloaded.
Has anyone else had any luck using scheduler in this way or is it a bug in beta 8?
For now I have rolled back to NL v5b7.
Thanks for any help. |
