Yes please!
I also can't see why exactly it was removed in 4.0. At least disable it by default or somthing, but don't remove features that people use! This has happened before (regex searches) and I needed to get furiously angry to catch some decent attention. It wasn't fixed, tho.
I didn't buy a SS-renewal. Why? Well, this.
Getting descript.ion back in is absolutely to noone's disadvantage.
I heard it's not coming back in 4.0. Because "development of 4.0 has ceased" What?? That's synonymous to NO SUPPORT (for existing versions).
Anyway, get it back in. Please stop removing features.

Never got back into 4.0, still missing in 5.0.

Since NL V5.0 beta 13, descript.ion files have been supported. The feature can be toggled from Adv. Nerdy Tweaks -> "Download Descript.ion File Enabled".

Maybe you can start to see why "Adv Nerdy Tweaks" is a very bad way to tuck away options you think nobody will touch. People (me at least) will think a feature is missing when it's there.

Rarely used features were / are either removed or moved into A.N.T. because most users got overwhelmed by the vast amount of features available when they tried to do some basic NL setup.
