When expanding a complete archive (clicking on +) as shown on the SuperSearch results pane, a .rar file is not shown in the expanded list of the archive contents and not downloaded when the archive is selected. All other components of the archive (.rxx, .nfo, .par, .sfv, etc..) appear correctly in the list and are downloaded. When quickpar subsequently is used to check the archive, the .rar file is shown as missing. Many archives can be corrected with included par files but when the missing .rar is large in comparison to the archive size the missing .rar will not be able to be reconstituted. This problem is recent and has been occurring over the last several weeks on many different groups and different posters and the effect is as if there was a .rar file filter omitting these files when the archive was created.
Anyone else seeing this? Using NewsLeecher v4.0 Beta 23. |

| My fault - I had set a .rar filter in the "Group Browsing/Group Update Settings/Filters: Subject" when downloading headers. Apparently these filters also apply to the SuperSearch results as well as Group Browsing. This should be noted on the Group Browsing setup page or have separate filters for SuperSearch (my preference). |
