I have been a long time customer of Newsleecher and I love the product you make. I have very little complaints about NL, but I have come across something that I can't ignore any longer.

There seems to be a bug that was introduced in V4 that is happening so often and consistently that I feel compelled to report it.

Some of the configuration are being corrupted regularly. Specifically, the remembered answers to pop-up messages and "Adv. Nerdy Tweaks", (there might be others, but those are the ones I know for sure)

It happens so often that I made a zipped backup of my configurations \Applications Data\Newsleecher directory and replace the corrupted configurations folder with it whenever I notice a problem after starting up. This seems to solve the issue until the folder gets corrupted again.

It might be caused by leaving NL running for an extended period of time (like 6+ hours) but I can't be sure if that is the case or not. I have read of other reports of people having a similar issue, so I'm sure this is not a problem specific to me.

I have exactly the same problem, which for me started 1 week ago. I also run Newsleecher (v4 stable, and now 5 beta) for extensive periods of time, without restarting (24+ hours), but now I will try to restart the application 2 times a day, and see how it will behave. Both v4 & v5 beta has exactly this same bug, I just hoped that it had been fixed, so I decided to upgrade to v5 beta, 3 days ago, when i last had this bug, but to no avail, as I can see today.

And because the export to NZB function doesn't work (at least when the download que has been corrupted) I have to manually search and replace every item on my que, which takes a whole evening. And this now happens to me every third day, so I'm getting pretty tired of this bug.

I have tried to reinstall it, and at the same time deleting all data under Users/AppData/Roaming, but the bug seems to bee in the download que files, because when i copied that directory only, from the old setup to the new one, I got the same error. But why NewsLeecher is corrupting itself is a mystery, although, I suspect something in the que, because I have not had this error before February of this year, and you /jojomehndi hav had this more than I, and also probably something to do with the time the application is open.

This definitely is a problem since v3.9 as I've noticed when I was on that version as well as now on v4.0 Final. Please get this fixed as it's a real nuisance.

This is also happening to me CONSTANTLY for the past year on all versions of that have been released since then. Right now I'm on V5 beta 12.

My specific issue is my server settings get emptied out. I'm constantly having to re-add all my servers. This is extremely annoying because I have multiple usenet servers some of them with username and passwords as random numbers so I have to search my email and find each one. It's insanely aggravating!!!!!!!!!!

It's getting to the point where i'm ready to cancel my subscription and just hop to another news program.
