Great newsreader but let's fix bugs

If you can get this working, then I believe you are the best newsreader on the market. You have already outstripped Newsbinpro as a binary downloader. You have persistent header markings. You get large binaries across multiple bots. Agent 2.0 can't touch this.

Fix the bugs and you win.

First: Binaries show incomplete when they are not. Not clear how the multi-server works. If you choose 2 servers (neither as "fill servers"), will they fill each other anyway?

Second: Far too many image files will download, but neither show up in download folder nor display as an image. I can't find any log file to see what happened either.

Third: When changing active group, I got this message:

Newsleecher did not crash though (good trap management!)

Fourth: When downloading images, please increment the preview panel. If my ISP is fast, NL will simply show all images in the first (of eight) image panels, so I can't see what I have downloaded. (hint: Nbin pro will increment display so you see ahistory of downloaded images).


Fifth: Manual?

Always nice to see some thoughts starmanj

1. Don't know about the files showing incomplete when they are not. But if you mean that they download incomplete while NL says they should be complete, this is being worked on.

2. Log can be seen when clicking the most right tab called "More".

3. Don't know about that one, but know the author is working hard on fixing all bugs. Believe I heard a new beta will be released somewhere within a week's time. Hopefully this fixes it.

4. For the author to comment on. I never download pictures myself, so won't need it.

5. Believe that is coming for the final version, but doesn't have the highest priority at the moment, as killing bugs is more important now. But again, the author should be able to answer that one better.

Thanks for reply Gregoor.

1) NL says incomplete, NBPro does not.
2) "More" tab won't show me a new window with server responses or errors. That, to me, is a "log file". "more" tab seems to only act on active window. Where are the server respones?
