|
|
In both v3 betas, when pressing "Update" and using multiple servers, NL apparently performs "mark as old" to all the messages in the active group before downloading new headers from each server instead of doing it once and only once. Every time I update, a bunch of headers show up as new and then quickly disappear. The only workaround that allows seeing all the new headers is to unmark the "Only New" checkbox, sort everything by age, and manually go over the recent headers trying to guess which of them was just downloaded.
This is a high priority bug, IMHO, because if people who use multiple servers don't resort to the (annoying) workaround I just described, they will be missing out on a random amount of new messages every time a group gets updated. |

When I update 1 group on two server, as soon as the first server have finished, the highlighted headers came "old".
When I have downgrade to newsleecher v 2.3, all the new headers are well highlighted.
I'm sure now there's a bug.
a little bug, but a bug.
