Since v3beta statusbar not working anyfor retreiving headers

In V2 when getting new headers for a group you saw a statusbar for that group, i dont know what to call it. But is begins small and gets bigger until it gets to the end when it is finished. That way you could see how long it would take to finish getting all headers for that group.

Is that gone forever?

To bring up the Connections Window, press F11 or click on the 2-sided arrow on the right side of the bottom status bar. Now when you update groups you will see the progress bar and the time left for each connection. Is this what you are looking for?

Hi, tried it but no, or i understand you wrong

What i mean is if you look at that connections windows you see a little horizontal line about 2 mm high between "connections 4bots - 1 server - 0 articles to leech" and "Offline"

That line begins at 0% (nothing happens) and showed a light green line, its length depend on how far it is in the new headers retreiving proces

0% =
10% = xx
50% = xxxxxxx
100%= xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (all headers dloaded)

xxx = the green line

It is now grey before getting headers and it stays grey when getting headers and it is still grey when it says "ok i am ready"

Yes, now I understand the problem that you are seeing.
In the Connections Window with the Preview Panel activated, the thin progress bar at the top of the preview panel, well, does not progress when getting headers. The color remains the same and solid. It is broken. The progress bar does work properly when downloading articles.
I can confirm this bug.

AFA as seeing the progress of header updates, this works very nicely when you disable the Preview Panel. You'll see the progress bars along with the estimated time left for each connection.
