Besides the crashes and all other minor bugs, this bug is my major reason not to buy Newsleecher yet:

I'm a multiserver user of newsleecher. I have the newsserver of my ISP as server 1 (priority 1), then usenetserver as server 2 (priority 1), then Giganews (priority 2) and then easynews (priority 3).

Sometimes I select the option not to get all the headers, but only the latest 200.000. But mostly I'm doing a full update when adding a newsgroup.

So this is the problem: I start up Newsleecher (beta12) and select a group. Newsleecher connects with the newsgroups and updates this group from all added servers. I've updated this group before, so every newsserver has 190.00 (example) new headers. Newsleecher nicely shows how many headers are updated per server. But sometimes (3 out of 5) the updating of a group stops at (example) 120.000. This can happen with every random newsserver. So I'm missing 70.000 updated headers from a newsserver. So I wait for the other servers to finish and hit update headers to get the missing 70.000 from that one server. But then NL shows that there are 0 new headers on all servers.

Easynews has a really good retention. When I check on their site for files (you don't need a newsreader for easynews, but I like that server to fill downloads) I see a particular file. But when I check with newsleecher on the easynews server in that group (for example a.b.nl) for that same file, NL tells that there's no such file in that group. So this cleary shows that a.b.nl isn't fully updated (allthough I've done a full update).

The more I check, the more I find out that newsleecher doesn't update groups with all headers from various servers.

The retention on easynews NNTP server is 1-2 weeks, the retention on their WEB server is 25 Days.

Yeah? Hmmmmm...... allright. That would solve the last problem. But that doesn't change the first one: NL stops updating a group after (example) 70% and consider that group as fully updated (although it's not)
