|
|
Hello,
Is is possible to start and run 2 instances of newsleecher at the same time?
I would use one instance for downloading ONLY on my payserver, Astraweb.
And I would use the 2nd instance to download ONLY from my own ISP.
The reason is that when I combine downloading from both servers in newsleecher, the pay server helps downloading files that my own ISP can handle for itself.
The pay server should only download it's own files that my own ISP doesn't support.
So I was thinking if it is possible to start and run 2 instances of newsleecher at the same time?
Thanks.
Regards,
MaMo. |

Use the priorities to set your pay server to be a lower priority (higher number) than your ISP and it should only get from your pay server when necessary. _________________ ---

Higher number means lower priority??
I've got it like this:
Own ISP 3,Y,Y,p1,Y
Payserver 4,Y,Y,p4,Y
Does this mean that because of my payserver has a lower number (p4), that it actually has a higher priority?
That would confuse me if that was true.
Especially because my own ISP ranks on top in the list of the newsservers.
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

Your correct with that. Newsleecher will download all the parts from your ISP server until it finds a part that isn't on and it will download it from your pay server.
Mine are
ISP 2,N,Y,p1,Y
Giganews 2,Y,Y,p2,Y |
