| I can't find any .m3u files if I use supersearch? So I have to fix it with par2 all the time. Maybe this is a supersearch bug? |

Yes, SSearch is not showing m3u files.
"Zero" files (ex, "subject.flac (00/41)"), the text info files that often appear as part of a multi-part post, are also very much missing from SSearch results.
Spiril, it would be great if you would please include these file types in the Super Search results.
Thanks.

I've now set Super Search to index all articles which have more than a single part plus articles which contain these keyword in the subject:
.par2
.nfo
.sfv
.m3u
Should it index other single-part file types?
Cheers

| The zero-files should also be indexed correctly now. But I'm not 100% sure. Pls let me know if it works. |

Spiril, thanks for the quick attention to this. I'll test this out as soon as I can, as I don't currently have access to NL. I can't believe my boss actually expects me to get something done here at work.

Please include:
.md5
Also, sometimes the info files are posted as ".txt". They commonly appear as, ex, "subject.txt (1/1)". If it's not a problem, I would like to see the .txt files in the results of the SSearch.
I think one possible result of the single part files appearing in SSearch will be the appearence of some followup "Re:" posts. This doesn't really bother me, since there is often info about the posts included in these files.

I'm seeing the zero files now appearing with the recent files in the index. If I find that some are missing I'll let you know.
The way NL currently works with text files, NL will not save the zero files (text files) after queing and downloading. This presents a problem after queing up the files. If these articles are not paused, they will get dl'd, won’t be saved, and will disappear from the queue. Well, they could be auto-paused like some of the par2 files. But…..
It would be great if the way NL treats text articles would be changed to allow for articles to be recognized as text and just saved to the proper directory just the same as the binary files. So, if a text article is queued up with a bunch of m-p binary posts, the text article will be recognized and saved without the need for the user to do anything different. Of course, this does not only apply to Super Search. If necessary I can expand on this more, maybe in the Wishlist section. (But for now, I need some sleep).

Hi,
I've read your posts on 0-part-files being detected in supersearch.
To my regret there are no cue-files in my supersearch results; and no logfiles! These are not to be missed in lossless groups!
Although I am happy to use newsleecher for my downloads, I tend to use grabitsearch because it does detects the cue- and logfiles.
It will be great to find them in Newsleecher as well.
Thanks! |

The one thing that annoys me about newzbin is their refusal to index certain items (m3u and jpg files in album groups in particular).
If you want to be an alternative, i'd suggest indexing everything, and allowing the user to specify what they want to see using rules similar to those currently in the options for binary filters. |

I'll add .txt, .md5 and .cue to Super Search asap.

Sounds like a good idea. It should at least be optional if text files gets saved or not. I'll put it on my todo list.

Thank you Spiril for already responding and adding .cue files.
However, there is still one wish left for me... the .log-files. In lossless groups, they give the information of the quality of an EAC rip.
Hope you can add this one as well! |

Excellent! I look forward to this feature being added to NL.
Thanks, Spiril.
I've been seeing "0 part" files in SSearch.
Only checked very briefly today, but didn't notice any .cue files. I'll check again later when I get back on my pc.
