| nl is keeping asking for an update from my licence key, I put the new key in and I can't connect anymore. |

Send a PM to Smudge with the details.
Mods - A small request: Could a sticky dedicated to the license key problems be setup? Tech Support seems a likely place. There's already one for v1 b29 in General Discussions. I know there's no guarantee that it will be used, but it might be worth a shot. Sometimes it seems there could be a whole separate section of the forum dedicated to this subject.
Or maybe just a sticky that says "License Key Problems? Send a PM to <insert name>"
Anyways, Smudge, it looks like you've got your hands full with all of the PM's. I'm sure it would be of help to you to have these messages consolidated in one place (well, at least mostly or I'm I actually being an optimist? )

This thread is now sticky to track the key problems with RC3.
There seems to be a couple of problems people are having with the new key.
1. Not receiving a key from the resend key page.
Please check your SPAM box. The majority of missing emails are due to SPAM filters. Hotmail is a perfect example.
2. NL keeps asking for an updated key at every launch
We haven't found a solution to this problem yet. I'd suggest using the License Key Tools menu to uninstall the current key then request another key from the resend key page (making sure to ask for a 2.0rc3 key) and enter the key again. If someone tries this and it works (or doesn't) please post back here.
3. Can't request a key because of an old email address in the database
Please email support or PM Smudge (but not both) with a copy of your original SWReg.org order email, your old and new email addresses.

YES! i have got a new licence key and it works too!!!
I just did the procedure again and send an e-mail to support@newsleecher.com and told the problem and now it is solved.
So people do this too and it should be solved for you too. (we hope )

When you say you get the same key, is the the exact same as you had before?
Dumb question but are you completing the form on the Key Resend page asking for the RC2 key or the RC3 key? |

same here,
was just downloading a DVD, then it said i could upgrade to new version.
but it won't work, and maybe i have to wait two working days for new key because the email address i registered the program i don't have anymore.
Hopefully i get the new key soon, otherwise i can throw this DVD through the drain.

ok, i was to quickly with shouting. I got the key within 5 minutes and it works!

Yes it was excly the same and yes it is for RC3 but, my problem is solved. |

Send *only* the old and new email address? Smudge, I do hope you are requiring some proof that the email address being changed does indeed belong to the person making the request. I thought the original order info and/or full registration info was required.
I figure you are, but after seeing this I would just like to be sure.
