Search in progress,since weeks!!!!!!!!!

Since i bought this program from day one it says in the pulldown menu of Super Search "Search in progress,please wait", bu ti never entered a search string en can't seem to disable this option...
What is wrong here????.....can someone please help me????...
I use V1.0 final!!.... , reinstalled XP but nothing helps.
Firewall was turned off (Zonealarm) and use Kaspersky , i tried all!!...

if you have v1.0 final you can't have super search, super search was only introduced in v2.0b1
it could be the regular search though, but unless you never shut down newsleecher it can't still be in progress.
my best bet is that the search isn't still in progress, but the text somehow got frozen. try uninstalling newsleecher and deleting the newsleecher directory before reinstalling. or reinstall to a different directory

thank you very much , downloaded and installed the beta version and super search works perfect!!.. Smile Laughing
