ONE SuperLeech result in the last week

Post by noblemd »

After having good results with SuperLeech for the last month or so (with the exception of the incomplete problem – supposedly fixed in b.8).

SuperLeech is apparently down AGAIN! Or at least not working in b.8.

How about a progress report on when SuperLeech is expected to be working properly.
Windows 10 v.2004
Ryzen 3950 (16 Cores 32 Threads - OC 4.0 GHz)
DeepCool Captain 240 RGB V2, AIO Liquid CPU Cooler (Max Temp 75°C 100% load)
NL download drive: M2 2280 500 GB NVME SSD (2.5 GB/s r/w)
Synology NAS #1: 32 TB RAID 5 (5 x 8 TB Drives)
Synology NAS #2: 18 TB RAID 5 (4 x 6 TB Drives)
500 Mb/s Internet Connection (NL Avg D/L speed 55 MB/s)

There shouldn't be any issues with SuperLeech. Pls PM me the search queries that should have returned hits, but didn't.
bug fixed. no idea how. hate it when that happens. trying to break it again now. will. not. be. defeated.

My SuperLeech problem - Solved

Post by noblemd »

Problem Solved - Hopefully - will continue to monitor SuperLeech activity.

For anyone else with the same problem...

Apparent Cause - Even when disabled, the SuperLeech Search Append Filter was still active (showed in log entries).
Fix - Erase SuperLeech Search Append Filter field.

I reenabled the SuperLeech Search Append Filter and deleted (erased) the entry

-VOSTFR -.jpg -.ita. -.ita- -korean

Showed grayed out when disabled.

Can't see any reason this filter would cause SuperLeech to stop working.

BUT,

The Search Append Filter field is now empty - blank when disabled.

***** AND ******

Almost immediately SuperLeech began automatically downloading items.

Problem fixed

Post by noblemd »

Thank you, Spiril for your help.

The problem with the SuperLeech filter appears to be fixed. I reentered the filters (as below).

-UNPACKER -VOSTFR -koreantv -german -sample -.jpg -.ita. -.ita-

Even with the filters active, my SuperLeech items have been properly downloading for the last 10 days.

This is happening for me also. I can see what I'm searching for when I download headers for the group it should be in but both SL and SS fail to find the items. This has been happening for about 24 hours. I'm using NL v7.0b10. I cleared the filter field as you suggested but there is no change.
