When I open an MP3 file to listen to it, I have to download it again if I want to keep it. Is there a setting to retain opened files temporarily so they don't have to be downloaded again as long as the group is active to be kept?
I know about the setting in Nerdy Tweaks "Download Keep Read Open Articles," but that automatically keeps all opened files. I don't want to do that.
TIA for any help. _________________ Larc |

There is a temp folder that newsleecher holds all opened articles which in my experience isn't cleared until the application is closed on my computer the path is
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\NewsLeecher\Temp\NLTemp\
i'm using windows 7 on xp it would be something like
c:\documents and settings\username\Application Data\NewsLeecher\Temp\NLTemp\
hope this helps |

Thanks for that. I was hoping there was a setting I'd somehow missed that would enable NL to keep up with opened files and get them from a temp source rather than downloading again. I know this can be done since Agent does it. By the time I could open my file manager and navigate to the NL temp folder, I could already have the file downloaded again. But at least anything opened is present in the temp folder, so that's part of the battle. Maybe Spiril will fill in the other part at some point. _________________ Larc |
