|
|
We've uploaded an unofficial forum release of NewsLeecher V5.0 Beta 14 here:
http://www.newsleecher.com/nl50014uo1.exe
It fixes a few SuperSearch related issues from the previous beta release:
!: Fixed bug from previous beta that prevented the deletion of
bookmarks and recent SuperSearch entries in the SuperSearch
bookmark view.
!: Fixed bug from previous beta where changing the 'days' value
for search entry in the SuperSearch bookmark view, didn't
always work. _________________
Bug fixed. No idea how. Hate it when that happens. Trying to break it again now. Will. not. be. defeated.

Articles Tab group double click = select, not working
Num days and Search together - Excellent!
Edit: Articles Tab group double click = Works occasionally, however, strange behavior other times. Double-click on one group and another group activates or an entire virtual group activates. Not the one clicked.

Artice Tab group double click = select
works only on the first page.
Not on any subsequent page.
You can try this by minimizing the view, so you have a scrollbar in the article tab. Scroll down and make a double click = no selection. |

There's a bug in the articles tab group double click functionality.
My article groups contains enough vitual groups and groups so that the pane scrolls unless I hit 'Z' to hide the connections and speed panes.
When the groups tab is scrolled to the bottom, double clicking on a group selects a different group - is seems to be the group that would be at the click location if the pane was scrolled to the top instead of the bottom of the group tree. |

This may have been answered elsewhere, so if so, I apologize.
Can I install v5 bxx data files to a secondary drive? That is, are the instructions here: http://www.newsleecher.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12413 still workable for the latest releases?
I'm discovering my 120 SSD (w7, 64b installed on c:\) fills up quickly! |

Ditto - weirdness started with beta 13, continues in 14. Double click on a group name highlights the name, but puts a check mark next to another group. |

Not too sure about that, because I note that if I keep on clicking on group A it erroneously opens group B higher up whether intervening virtual groups are expanded or compressed. However, if I scroll so that group A is lower in the pane and click it, it opens a group that is closer to it than group B.
But I agree with everyone, it's not working correctly. |

I've just uploaded a new unofficial forum release that should fix that problem:
http://www.newsleecher.com/nl50014uo2.exe
+: Reintroduced buttons next to the article filter search boxes,
which will open the advanced filter dialog, when clicked.
!: Fixed bug from previous beta that sometimes caused NewsLeecher
to activate the wrong groups, when double clicking the groups
navigation panel. _________________
