What happened to the ability to choose your virtual groups from the top menu bar, there used to be the nice drop down that you picked from and now its gone for some reason?
Is here a shortcut to bring it back?
It gone back to the ugly choice of going into the manager and selecting the group to make it full screen then update, otherwise the manager window makes it look ugly.
The other way was quick, clean and crisp.
Oh, also, what happened to the ability to display your working downloading bots in a straight horizontal line?
I like to see if any bots have failed, now I can only see individual bots if I list them downwards there fore taking up 10x the room if had them in a straight line across the screen?
Can this be returned please, sometimes it quicker to reconnect t he bot by manual ways than wait for the auto plus the idea of listing them downwards seems the most screen space wasting of the two previous choices. |

You can enable/disable the virtual groups (or individual groups) from the double yellow folder icon/menu at the top left of the articles page. It is between the double blue arrows (show/hide the GNP) and the Group Update icon (folder with blue arrows in a circle)

I'm not sure what you mean by having them in a horizontal line.
Or do you mean the Image Preview mode? That would put their info horizontally instead of a vertical list. I guess if you shrink the window down to only show the connection info and not the actual preview window (and if you are not downloading images) then you probably don't see that as an image preview mode.
If that is what you mean, I don't know if/when that will be returning.

Me not with enough detail, sorry..
What I meant is that you used to see the bots download progress per bot in a line across the screen, now the only way to see the same progress is in a list downwards.
it was easier to see if a bot was offline that way.
Also to see how the bots are doing per bot you have to drag the bar up thus covering a good portion of the screen if you decide to leave it in view to check on the bots.
[EDIT]... Just did a search and saw the image preview is removed at the moment and being replaced with a better one in 5 final, sorry for the duff question, will you keep the bot progress bar with the image preview?
IGNORE - I think it was part of the image preview but I used to close the screen down just so I saw the bots progress instead.
Is this just a hidden feature now or gone? |
