It depends on your settings and which Leech option you use.

If you use just the Leech option, it won't create a subdir based on the subject but will save the files in the default download location. If you have the Setting>Downloads>"Save to groupname subfolder" option enabled, it will put them in a subdirectory based on the group they are in.

If you want the files to be saved in a subdirectory based on the subject, you will need to use the Leech Smart or Leech Specify option.
