Go to settings, Download, Leech Tweaks and uncheck "Auto Pause PAR2 Files"
I already had the "Auto Pause PAR2 Files" box unchecked. Same problem.

Thanks for the tip though...

That setting has nothing to do with this problem.

I switch off as much 'logging' as I can ..
If fact, I wish I could just switch it all off .. EXCEPT file extract logging and connection events.

Cant see point in so much logging. Gets in way of resources.

pausing newsleecher temporarily: waiting for download queue

Message: pausing newsleecher temporarily: waiting for download queue

This message interferes with browsing in newsleecher. It stays on top of the listview and will not go away when I click on it. Please provide a method to hide this message such as configuring it to be hidden for 5 minutes when it is clicked.

I don't mind that NL pauses downloads when 64bit par checks exceed disk capacity on my download drive, but the pause message should not stay on top and interfere with listview browsing on my NL drive.

Config:
cable internet: 100mbps
verify and extract: independant using external app
NL installed on drive E
downloads to separate disk G. (external esata raid enclosure)

a.
Q - What version of NewsLeecher have you tested with?
A - 5.0 final

b.
Q - How fast is your internet connection?
A - 200 Mbps

c.
Q - Which disks have you tested this problem with?
A - SSD and RAMDISK (4gb size), I primarily download onto the ramdisk as I think it´s fastest

d.
Q - Do you see the message all the time whe downloading with NewsLeecher, or only during specific downloads?
A - happens from time to time

e.
If there is any relevant debug information in the NewsLeecher log (remember to use the latest NewsLeecher beta or forum test release while testing for this issue), make a copy / paste of it, and send to 'Spiril' in a PM forum message.
A - it stops with the message on screen after after few sec download continues

I'm just wondering why/what could be the reason.

after download the files get auto extracted to my normal hdd (some Samsung 7200 rpm)
