super-long subjects
I've noticed some posts/files aren't indexed via supersearch, i can find them via web-indexers.... Well not all of them, but a few can handle those subjects. When i import the nzb into my nl-queue everything looks ok, until i restart NL. After the restart the subject line of those posts are truncate...

Just some quick thoughts after playing around with the new version, i miss the option to use windows-colors, i also prefer the tab-design of v4. and the new advanced search-dialog-box doesn't feel right as replacement for the old bar...
Those things aside, the new version looks promising. Good work.

Sounds like a good idea. I'll give it a go for the next beta. But it'll probably be implemented, so holding down Ctrl while checking a group, will uncheck all other groups, instead of the other way around. First of all, i like the new beta and the reworked gui. Well done. I'm not sure about the ide...

Yep, pretty easy doable with the commandline-app "route.exe". Well, it's not dynamic, but you can route server 1 over connection 1 and server 2 over connection 2. You have to know the ip-adresses of your servers (providers use multiple ips under the same hostname and route.exe does'nt work with host...

A simple skip-option alone would'nt be that great, why not add a list of "known passwords" and let NL try them, before it skips the files or sets them to paused? Why, is there some list of known passwords floating around out there for these things? Do these people who have you visiting strange web ...

Well, partially i can understand your request. But honestly, those mentioned features are gimmicks, they don't hurt. I'm pretty sure they are'nt the source of your speed-problems. Newsleecher gets slower when it has to work with big group-caches and queues. These kind of files get fragmented alot to...

Please, PLEASE add support for 64-bit+CUDA PAR2 checking! Not that easy, a 32bit-application can't use a 64bit-dll. Then again, a 64-bit version of NL would be nice too... True, but simply not possible without a 64bit-version of Delphi (and lots of 3rd-party-components, i guess). You can't blame th...

new status for file-sets "partially downloaded"
Hi,
to get a set (thread) marked as downloaded you have to download only a single file of it (e.g. reading a nfo). I think thats not right. Maybe some file-types (nfo) should be ignored here, or better, the set should be marked as "partially downloaded" with a different color too.
Thanks...

I got a problem when i try to redownload a file within a session, it does'nt get written, while the temp-files are there. Restarting NL helps... Queuing files with identical names still is'nt possible too, i'm not talking about queing the same post multiple times, it's just about different posts wit...

*: Further improved the 'Collections' algorithm, which is used by NewsLeecher to find articles that belong together. Well, there are still problems with gigantic sets, only r* and s* files are recognized as part of a collection. The file-counter still can't handle more than 255 files. There are lot...
